Blackbirds are returning
It was so cool watching a large flock of blackbirds touch down in my backyard and the surrounding areas! Hundreds of birds! 🙂
I can tell you that the predominant specie was Common Grackles followed by Red-Winged Blackbirds. This is the second time I see this event en five years living in this location.
For this occasion I was able to get my camera on time to record at least the birds that were in my backyard.
Most birds were too large for my feeders, the shook them and got most seeds on the ground. Then as fast as they came, they left!
Short lived experience but it indicates that Spring is near. It means that my birds activity will increase and will have lots of photographic material for my blog as well as observations from my part on what happens in my backyard! 🙂
