Northern Cardinals are cool!

One of my favorite birds are the Northern Cardinals (Cardinalis Cardinalis). My wife simply adores them! They are very handsome and colorful birds, hard to miss.

They are unaffected by changes of weather and do not migrate, they usually stick around the areas where they grew up and nest there.

They can ruffle up their crowns and be even more attractive or use it as a warning for “don’t get too close” to other birds. I also think that are very popular in our society by they image.

Birds & Photography

The other day I had a great time taking pictures of a Blue Grosbeak, even when he’s still not mature, his colors where incredible and he posed for me for a long while.

I got many shots of him, I’m displaying a couple of them for you.

I wish that when you read this blog, you understand that the time and effort spent by me it doesn’t compare to the satisfaction I get when I see the results. I enjoy the moment when I shoot  the scene and then later I relive it while I see the photos. It gratifies my spirit.

It’s been very sad to read the tragic news of lost of lives because of the tornados in Mississippi yesterday. We were lucky not to get any of those in Georgia.  The closest one since I live here has been about 5 miles from us. Let’s keep it that way! 🙂

Yesterday I had a busy day with photography and my computer.

Today I’m bringing you Gallery of Birds # 38, Enjoy!

Gallery of Birds # 37 – Blue Grosbeak

Yesterday we had a large storm passing over our County and poured a great deal of water but luckily no tornados came along with it. Rain is always needed but can not be in form of hail or rain bucket, then becomes destructive. Anyway, water is good for the plants and growth of all vegetation.

I had one of my favorite visitors comeback: The Blue Grosbeak

It was also the first time that I saw the female Blue Grosbeak with blue plumage on several parts of her body.

Enjoy my latest Gallery # 37!
