Starting a New Year

Among the birds that are visiting my feeders lately, one local species, the Field Sparrows show up when there’s a bit of sunshine! They are nice small birds that love to hang out at feeders, jumping from one feeder to the other. They have good appetite and eat a lot in contrast of their small size.

I wanted to tell you about my upcoming travel plans:

On January 12th I’ll be flying to Peru in South America!

There, one of my cousins will be waiting for me there and another will arrive 3 days later flying from Florida. We have plans to visit some new places where we couldn’t visit the previous time we were there. I’m hoping to do a lot of Photography and exploration.

I will try hard and do my best to keep posting on my blog regularly, but it is very difficult sometimes.

Please be patient and continue checking my blogs.

Feeding the Birds

The fact that temperatures are getting in the low side lately, has not stopped some birds to come and visit my bird feeders. Any little break in the gray clouds showing some sunshine it offers great opportunity of feeding for the several species of birds nesting in my backyard and vicinity. This off course makes me happy and also gives me a good chance to take some pictures.
