This is to let know that I’m going through a tough time with my server provider. I’m using a wi-fi signal from the street, weak but strong enough to write this note.
My Internet provider is ATT and hasn’t been able to restore service since last Friday night. I’ve been on the phone with them trying to solve my problem with no solution, yesterday they blamed an unreported area disfunction that they will have to repair, promised to have done and working for yesterday at 5pm. They did not fix the problem and today I spoke to a different server that will be providing me their service within 72 hours or less if they can. I’m so disappointed with ATT that I will cancel their services for Internet service and telephone service also. I will send them a formal complaint letter as soon as I’m connected again!
I just ask you to be patient and I’ll be posting normally ASAP. Thank you!

Last Minute News:
I will be resuming my blogging tomorrow Tuesday 25th, 2014 🙂
It feels so good to have balmy temperatures nearing 70º F! I was out pruning my Myrtle Crape dwarf tree. I just hope to see many flowers this summer. Last year my tree was gorgeous, teeming with purple flowers!
“I have the feeling that we’re going to see Spring with many birds this year.”
I shot some pictures but I’ve been busy reading the upcoming new books that Princeton University Press will be publishing this Spring.
Please be on the look out for those book reviews on my blog.
Next Friday I’m going to Tractor Supply Store and buy a lot of bird seeds hopefully to last me a month. I will be working on new ways to set up my bird feeders in order to create better photo opportunities.

Surprisingly the weather temperature has begun to climb up and thus making a sunny day warm and very pleasant. It may sound like I’m talking about some other State but it is Georgia! I shot some pictures very early since the sun was so bright. This is the reason for the strange bokeh I got on some pictures.
It’s 68º F as I write this post at 1:42 pm. Boy, did I miss this kind of weather! I’m going to shoot some more pictures later and see what I get. I’m feeling much better from the cold I had, my energy is up and giving me the drive to do more things. I’m glad! I’ve been reading new books that will be published soon by Princeton University Press. I’ll be reviewing a total of 4 books.

“Ten Thousand Birds” – Ornithology since Darwin.
This is the title of a new book that will be published on February 26th, 2014 by Princeton University Press. This fascinating book is the product result of a tremendous effort of investigation, compilation and study made it possible by the authors: Tim Birkhead, Jo Wimpenny and Bob Montgomerie.
An impressive chronologic explanation in clear terms and comprehensive language of the development of the Ornithology science, the great leap that took with the advance of technology and the open mind approach of the modern theories and research. Bird lives was suddenly the interest of many scientific scholars, finding a trove of information on the incipient study of Ornithology.
Reading this book is so important in order to understand the tremendous effort that scholars went through in order to reach the point of knowledge in Ornithology that we are now. I recommend reading this “treasure” book. It will get a prominent place in my home library!
