Surprisingly, the past couple of days have been very windy and and cool after having so many glorious spring days. Its not so terrible but nonetheless inconsistent. I can just imagine how incredibly annoying must be for the birds.
The strong gusts of wind have caused uprooting of trees in some parts of Georgia, for me, only messed up all the feeders and seeds have been flying all over.
The fewer birds that I’ve seen had certain difficulties to stay put in one place. I’ve seen birds being thrown off balance others getting their feathers ruffled up.
I thought that later was going to rain since it was dark and cloudy, however, we didn’t get one drop! Lack of rain and lower temperatures is not going to be too healthy for our plants or grass.

The largely expected Spring has manifested finally in good form, after the depressing days of cold, snowy, icy, dark of a extremely long Winter.
One thing I’ve noticed immediately is the lack of subject for conversation or discussion on the Internet or anywhere for that case. People forgot about those most hated days of cursing for the School snow days, same about the no working day because the icy roads. Going to the Food Market and finding no food because no supply deliveries were done, for the same reason. Tension, stress and discomfort were on the brink. Now, all that is gone and forgotten!
Bad moods have turned around, in fact there no time to think about the ice or the annoying “white stuff”. No problem, just pay the heating bills and change gear That’s all! We’re creatures of habits.
We have entered to a different crisis! We are worried about our lawns, gardens, shrubs, flowers, hoses, lawn mowers, trimmers, etc. You can walk out of your front door and take a look around and see people working on a number of things related to their homes, backyards or garages. A total change has overtaken all neighbor’s minds, we all are involved in synchronized thinking, a voice is in everybody’s mind telling us: “Spring is here , whether you do something outdoors now!… Or Winter will come back again!”
“I’m sorry I have to stop writing, I got to rush I left my lawn mower running on idle mode!”
