A Bit of Sunny Weather

Birds behave more lively with just a bit of sun added to an increase of few degrees in temperature. It does wonders to the photographer too!

I’ve been noticing more bird activity lately, with the increased temperature and the seed consumption has increased too. It might be an indication that cold weather might be winding down and be warmer soon. I really hope so!

List of birds I’ve seen lately:

  • Mourning Dove ( Lots of them)
  • Chipping Sparrows  (More than I’ve seen trough last season)
  • Field Sparrows ( Many of them decided to stay local)
  • Northern Cardinals (They own the place)
  • Northern Mockingbird ( They rule the place)
  • Carolina Chickadee ( Local couples)
  • Carolina Wren (The opera singers)
  • White-breasted Nuthatch ( New in neighborhood)
  • Brown-headed Nuthatch (Local guys)
  • Song Sparrows ( Local family)
  • Eastern Towhee (Local couples)
  • American Goldfinch (Some still around)
  • House Finch ( Some still around)
  • White-throated Sparrow

Simply Words…

Blessed Eternity

They could crush my heart with hard painful words,

sink my pride to the bottom of the swamp and

let me drown in a lake of tears.

Discard my broken carcass into the abyss of solitude

or do what ever they may desire with my body.

But always keep in mind that my

soul remains intact and shielded by my faith

as is my love for what has been mine!

For our souls are eternal an indestructible!

Love will remain active and strong.

Do not fear death, for it is only the transition to

the real life.

We are like a butterfly chrysalid that opens

and our soul emerges to live forever

where there are no walls nor fears…

Just love and justice!

Day After Yesterday

The last few days have been cold and windy but surprisingly bright and sunny. The cold wave is now hitting hard the north of the Country and we’re getting only cold wind but less clouds.

We had some rain lately too. but in less quantity and less duration.

It was nice to see more birds during the hours of sunny weather for sure!

This also gave me an opportunity to shoot some pictures of the local birds, my frequent visitors. I’ve been kind of busy with other matters and haven’t had much free time to write anything special for my post.

But I have some pictures for you. Enjoy them!
