What’s Up? What does Autumn mean to me?
What does Autumn mean to me?…
Autumn is my favorite Season. I think I’ve expressed that feeling sometime ago about this preference. I enjoy seeing the tree leaves change to such wonderful earth colors. It’s Nature painting daily masterpieces for us! It shortens the distance between mankind and the rest of the natural world.
I felt kind of compelled to mention about what it means to me this season. Even when this season is kind of mixed with Winter I like it very much.
I’m not a writer but I can express myself a great deal better with my photographs. I prepared a short Photo Gallery for you to fill the blanks! ~ H.J.

Willet
The willet (Tringa semipalmata), formerly in the monotypic genus Catoptrophorus as Catoptrophorus semipalmatus, is a large shorebird in the sandpiper family. It is a relatively large and robust member sandpiper, and is the largest of the species called “shanks” in the genus Tringa. Its closest relative is the lesser yellowlegs, a much smaller bird with a very different appearance apart from the fine, clear, and dense pattern of the neck, which both species show in breeding plumage. It breeds in North America and the West Indies and winters in southern North America, Central America, the West Indies and South America.
