What’s Up? Hot Summer…
Hot Summer…
We are going into, what it seems a hot Summer. The sun is up early and sets down late (9:30 PM.). It is hard for anyone to be under the sun for very long without getting awfully tired and thirsty. Then we have the torrential rains that saturate the soil and devastate plants.
Well, what else is new?
My birds are adjusting to cope with the heat, I just do what I can to facilitate what will keep them safe from succumbing to the new weather patterns. I provide them with food and water. Some of my birds are starting to molt. How is the weather in your area now?

It’s been hot the past couple of weeks, but cooler at night, which makes for pleasant evenings. I hope your weather calms and there’s some relief from the heat and rain!! What a combination!
Here we rely on AC at all times to avoid heat and humidity! I remember many extremely hot days when I lived in NJ! We’ll be fine! Thanks for sharing Dorinda. 🙂
It’s hot and humid, except when it’s humid and hot. Keep that water coming!
That’s right Linda! I keep a large mason jar next to me at all times. it’s a mix of cranberry juice and water with plenty of ice! Thanks! 🙂
Summer shots of birds!!
Thanks Indira! 🙂
We have had a long, hot, rainless spell with no signs of it ending.
Just don’t expose yourself too much under the sun! The UV are very bad for the skin. Thanks for sharing Susan! 🙂
Superb collection of your feathered friends HJ! I know they appreciate your assistance with the heat!! ☺
