I only began seeing these delightful birds about three or four years ago. It was their song that attracted me, though it took a while to figure out who was producing that marvelous sound. They’re as pretty as they are good singers.
They are nice birds with a great sense of family. Their behavior captivated my attention. And, of course they are great singers. Thanks for sharing Linda. 🙂

Interestingly, House Finch bred this year for the first time in Europe. In Portugal, apparently.
They are very good birds, good singers, well behaved and prolific. Wish them prosperity. 🙂
I love House Finches. Like House Sparrows, they are always in a good mood and chatty, and simply make me feel happy.
