Always in 2 minds about these birds. As brood parasites, they are not good news where there are rare or unusual breeding birds… Nice in their right place, problematic elsewhere! RH
These birds are very prolific and numerous, virtually developed a way to control overpopulation by laying eggs in other bird nests, where eventually, not all the eggs survive. There was an experiment done about that. Thanks RH! 🙂
