What’s Up?
Hurricane Matthew caused severe damages, devastation and loss of lives to several Caribbean islands, then traveled along the East Coast of the State of Florida, also creating havoc with floods, sea surges and high velocity winds. The hurricane continued North hitting the Georgia coast with the damaging effects similar to Florida. Luckily, the area where I live was totally untouched because the hurricane veered North-East and spared the incursion deeper inland where it would have hit us. Instead of rain or wind we have gotten a lovely cool dry weather typical of our Autumn.
I just hope that we will not return to the hot weather ‘till next Summer!
Talking about Summer and hot weather, I decided to show how important to birds it is providing them with fresh water, especially if the temperatures are in the high side. They not only quench their thirst but also love to refresh their bodies with a cooling bath. Oh yeah!!

By the way, this individual (See photo) is a predator that has caused many casualties of birds from my backyard! We have not seen this cat for the past two or three days. I hope his owners are keeping him indoors!
