Golden Touch
My bird visitors are still coming in flocks for a quick stop eat and go every day. Mostly blackbirds which I seriously think are moving south for their annual migration. The rest of my visitors are local birds, from my area, among them are the American Goldfinch. I’m fond of them mainly because I still remember “Midas” the midget Goldfinch that stayed with us for a week and later left to meet the world. Do you remember?
This week I’ve seen some Goldfinches coming to the feeders mostly in the morning. It’s always very pleasant to see these birds adorning my backyard with their golden touch.
Here are some photos of them, enjoy!
