Name this Dude

Today I’ll ask you, dear readers of my blog or any visitors for a big favor. I want this little bird (See photo) to have a pet name since this is going to be the third week that he’s been hanging out in my backyard.

He spend the day on our deck, he’s not hurt or sick, he can fly, walk, eat , drink water etc. He is shy and keeps a low profile, he’s smaller than the average size of a Goldfinch.

We’re growing fond of him, he’s not afraid of people but we do not try to scare him or touch him. He’s a kind of mystery bird.

Other goldfinch come and go but he doesn’t connect with them or reacts in any way. If you notice, he has the black crown already and breeding plumage so he’s not just a fledgling.
