Remember vs. Forget

One thing I know about this Spring is that it is here now, it’s being interrupted by touches of cold temperatures spells but, who cares? Birds are here, plants are waking up, flowers are popping up everywhere and the area is turning green…( Am I ranting like an insane man?).

It’s funny though, people is becoming more interested and worried about their weather temperatures than lack of jobs, weak Economy, terror groups all over the world, wars, Countries taking over other Countries, drug lords gaining more power day by day.
My guess is that we tend to ignore the tragic reality that happen in the world… daily!. We prefer to look the other way and pretend that it’s not happening. World History has taught us enough so we should not repeat the same errors!…Unfortunately we always forget!

“I think that we should remember what we like but not forget what we don’t like.”

Our featured bird for today’s post is the Tufted Titmouse

  1. Very interesting thoughts. I think most ordinary people know that they are virtually powerless to do anything about the troubles in this world. It sometimes is easier to ignore the awful things and concentrate on trivia. However, I do believe that climate change is happening – whether caused by us or a natural event that was due to happen or a mixture of both I don’t know. It is already causing terrible hardship in parts of Africa and Asia. But to change the subject ……. such a pretty little bird. You are very lucky to get so many lovely birds visiting you! Clare

    • Yes, the climate has changed as has changed for eons, it is just happening in our lifetime. Mother Nature could change drastically in a blink of an eye or could take millennia. I don’t think that mankind created the problem, it is only a teeny weeny factor in this equation. Some places will go hot some others will go cold.
I believe the change of ocean currents are the main factor.
When I wrote the post was only to remind us that we can’t ignore what happens in other places because it might happen to us too! And…yes, it’s a pretty little bird, looks so perfect and resembles a little toy! 🙂

  2. We are constantly being manipulated by vested interests in terms of what we should worry about. Since we get our information mediated through these vested interests, it is very hard to know what to worry about seriously. Meantime, I like you, look at the birds.
