Soothing Day
Yesterday we took a nice drive to Red Top Mountain Park near the town of Cartersville in Ga. The sun was shining and felt so balmy and fresh near the lake. The snow and ice was for the most gone, I was glad because I hated being cooped up indoors with my house guests.
The drive was good and once at the park we shot some pictures for their vacation album. I did not bring my big lenses because the outing was mostly to tour round the park, not looking for birds. I saw some mallards, one woodpecker and seagulls out of range for my camera.
It really felt good breathing fresh air and smelling the aroma of pine.

I’m glad that you were able to have a good day out.
Tom, you won’t believe me but today I have a terrible cold worst that before! After my guests leave on Monday I’m going to see the Dr. I’m sick as a dog! 😦
I am sorry to hear this. You seem to have been suffering quite a bit. A visit to the doctor seems to be in order.
Lovely blog & the bird so cute! I hope you will get well soon to hear & see more nice blogs from you.
Thanks a lot for your nice comment! 🙂
Hope you’re feeling better HJ, if not, yes best to get back to the doc. Hang in there, and take care of yourself!
Thanks so much dear, I will! 🙂
Lovely photographs, thanks for another great post.
I thank you Emma for your visit to my blog and kind comments! 🙂
