Lovely Color

One little bird that stimulates my eyes with his unique color is the Indigo Bunting. These birds are a feast for the eyes, especially when the background is green. I had them in my backyard on the Spring. I enjoyed their visits so much, they are so beautifully endowed with a plumage that reflect the light in a unique color. However, when they fly they may look much darker, almost black.
