H.J. Ruiz – Avian101

This post is an update to a post I published on 7/26/2013 entitled “Ups and Downs”

I wrote about the hardships of birds living in the wild. I also posted a photograph of a House Finch (M) that was in bad shape, had lost one eye and looked as if had been attacked by an obvious larger adversary. Several people expressed their sentiments for the injured little bird, I was sad too and wished him well.

So it happens that on 8/22/2013 I photographed the bird again, by mere coincidence posed as it did before. Take a look at the photos and you’ll clearly see that he’s recuperated,looks well and even has molted to a new set of feathers.

I’m so glad for him!
