Life Goes On
This past weekend has been very pleasant and tranquil. We spent a lot of our time shopping around and getting ready for Autumn. We usually buy home supplies in larger quantities to store for our use at least for 3 or 6 months.
Supplies such as paper towels, liquid soap, detergents, cat food and cat litter, cleaners etc. Also first aid supplies.
Then we bought some season plants and other things.
You most likely know how shopping can absorb many hours of your time.
I believe that Tyler will be off school for a week, this might give us a chance to go some place… we’ll see.
The backyard is ok, I had some Brown-headed Cowbirds for a while, the N. Cardinals are here in quantity, M. Doves too.
I can see C. Chickadees coming and going and some Song Sparrows sneaking around. I also see several Ruby-throated Hummingbirds at all times of the day! Once in a while I see a Hawk fly by but that’s all.

Your uninvited trespasser is actually rather cute!
He is but unfortunately he eats too much! 🙂 Thanks Julie! 🙂
just like our million rabbits!
Nice pictures! You’re pretty lucky to have all that bird traffic in and around your home
I guess I am, the main factor is to have food for them always! 🙂 Thank you!
Love your shots as usual! Especially the female cowbird in the flower pot bed, your shot gave her extra class with the flower alongside her. 🙂 Mr. Squirrel, although cute, needs to go look for his acorns and leave the seed alone!! lol
Thanks Donna for your comment! Luckily I rarely get squirrels in this area because hit may be too dangerous (Hawk territory) I don’t get any rodents any more in my backyard.
Sweet. The birds are getting their feathers all back. Looking good!
Yes! Thank you BD! 🙂
I’ve been a people/travel photographer for many years, but I’m just starting out with bird photography and I’m hooked. Looking forward to going through your posts.
That’s great Jennifer! Thank you! 🙂
