Red-winged Blackbird
The Red-winged Blackbird is medium size bird with black shiny feathers covering its body and has a bar of yellow color on the wings combined with crescents of bright red feathers on part shoulder and part underwing.
They are moderately aggressive and gobble seeds with frenzy and desperation, which is typical to blackbirds.
It’s funny that all I’ve seen is only male Red-winged Blackbirds. Are they short of gals?

Thanks a lot Bob! 🙂
What a beautiful bird this is…I believe I’ve never seen anyone… but then again, maybe they are not even here 😀
Yes, no doubt this bird is handsome and abundant in America. Maybe one day you’ll see one! 🙂
What a lovely bird!
Yes, it’s handsome, has a presence, all black with yellow and red bars on wings. Real cool! 🙂
