Carolina Chickadee
The Carolina Chickadee couple that occupied the main bird house are doing fine in their home. I haven’t seen any invasions to their nest by any other species so far. Not that this little bird couldn’t handle it if that happen! Such a small bird what lacks in size it has on huzpah, fights like an eagle when it comes to protecting their nest. Chickadees are difficult to photograph because they don’t stay longer than a couple of seconds in one place.
I like them a lot!

Love the birdhouse and the little chickadee too 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot D. I appreciate it! 🙂
Very beautiful catch..
Thank you Ali! 🙂
What a great photo – you certainly captured a wonderful picture of what you were saying. Unfortunately we don’t have them here (I don’t think!)
Thank you Julie, you’re very kind. I’ll find out and let you know!n 🙂
I love chickadees, they never seem to be in a bad mood. I have yet to meet a Carolina Chickadee. Maybe when I go to southern Illinois late April I’ll have a chance at them. Anyway love the house and the bird!
Well, I hope that you will have the opportunity to see one in person. I’m sure that you’ll like it more. Thanks Lisa! 🙂
How are they paying their rent, hmmmm…? Just kidding. They’re so cute.
Can’t you see that the Chickadee is posing for me? We have a deal!
Q: Do they have Chickacees in NC?
Thanks for the visit 🙂
I feel like I’ve seen one before (in the airport actually so maybe he was making a trip from Georgia to NC) but I’m not sure – I should probably educate myself.
I thinks your wonderful bird houses are going to start showing up in my paintings!
I actually think, not thinks!
I’d be honored to have them immortalized! Thanks Christine, this is your home any time you need models!
Thanks HJ
