From Cable to Dish

Yesterday was a frustrating day on account to the problems created with a change of services from cable Internet, phone and TV (Package) to the Dish TV, Internet and phone services. They promised to have things installed and put to work without interrupting my internet activity. Wrong!

They came and pulled the cable and installed the dish, ran all the wiring, switched the boxes for the TVs etc. Then I noticed that they had used the connections used by the previous provider and I had no internet! That wasn’t the deal! I tried getting wi-fi around my community but everybody have them secured. I went to the nearest hotel and from the parking lot I tried to get signal but they had it fire walled with a password. The library has computers to surf the web but not to upload stuff. Finally I found Sam’s Club that offer free wi-fi, that’s when I could reply some emails. I was so upset! The direct-tv was another fiasco because from the 150 channels included in the package I think just 10 of them are regular and the rest are crap they sell. Not HD channels or premier channels (Not movies) all that is extra $$ which I had to agree. They’ll make the adjusting next Tuesday. As you see It wasn’t so pretty!

However I went outdoors to clean up a little my backyard and then shot some pictures.

Here are some of them:

  1. So frustrating not to have internet….makes you wonder what we did before computer days. Love the bird photos. We don’t get Cardinals in our area so it’s a treat to see a photo of one. Have a Super Saturday.

    • My frustration was that they shot me down and I couldn’t do what I needed to do. Otherwise I have plenty things to do. Thanks for your comment Daphne! 🙂 Have a good Saturday too!
