Rock Pigeons are extremely abundant in all the USA. These birds have adapted to all different habitats and weather conditions. They can easily survive the hottest or the coldest weather temperatures, feed themselves with any available kind of food. They are excellent flyers and proliferous breeders.

The following pictures were shot in Tybee Island. These pigeons compete with the Boat-tailed Grackles for scraps of food and small fish.
