Swamps in the outskirt of City of Augusta

The photos that I’m posting today were shot during my visit to the city of Augusta looking for a hotspot for birds. Not very far from the but a few miles from the urban area I found the Phinizy wildlife preserve  built in a large area of wetlands (Swamps).

The day I was there it wasn’t very good for birds, however I still have the filling that with such great habitat sometime during the year must have a great deal of migrant birds. I just have to find out the months of the year that qualify as best time to visit and find more birds.
