Robin would have said “Holy Sparrow!”

When my wife and I went to Israel, among all the places we visited the most important for us was the Temple West Wall. Of course this experience will remain engraved in our memories forever.

We also toured the underground city and many other places that have been excavated and discovered in the past few decades.

Attracted my attention to see some birds flying around and my curiosity made me follow their path and got to see and photograph birds nesting in the Wall itself!

Now I know that the birds in my shots are House Sparrows.

Researching a little on the internet I found that there are a series of different species living in the Wall. There’s a complete study and record of every nest there is at the Holy Site.
