We had some stormy days the past few days, rained heavily that floods have been affecting several regions of Georgia. Where I live it rained quite a bit also making all creeks and ponds loaded and near overflowing.

Poor birds had to fight strong winds and down pouring to get their meals. In simple words the creatures were soaked & wet of getting so much water on them. I know that all birds have a natural waterproofing substance on their feathers but only to certain extent. Most birds I saw were dripping water. For some birds such as: Brown Thrashers, A. Robins and N. Mockingbirds was a feeding bonanza because worms were all over the muddy ground. It’s ironic!
