On February 21st I wrote about the American Robins that had visited my backyard for the first time since I moved to Georgia and I hoped that they stay in this area to see them more often. Well, a bunch of them were here again, under heavy rain and gusty wind I saw them pulling worms from the ground near the creek.

I believe that at least twenty individuals ran from one place to another pocking the wet ground. Most birds were wet for the obvious reasons. I just wished there was more light, it was gray and dark. Despite the circumstances I was able to get a few shots of the robins, images that I’m posting today.

These poor Robins are soaked and wet but very busy getting worms from the drenched ground.
