Heavy rain
Yesterday after having a beautiful afternoon with sunshine and soothing warmth the weather came downhill from that point. Started raining normally first and all through the night it rained and rained! This morning still was raining and at moments was buckets of water blown by strong gusting winds.As I’m writing blog the rain has lost intensity and I’m just hoping that it would end. I can see a lot of big puddles of rainwater accumulated from last night and this morning.
Through my window I could see some birds despite the intense rain and wind:
- Brown Thrasher
- Red-winged Blackbird
- Brown-headed Cowbird
- Field Sparrow
- Eastern Towhee
- Mourning Dove
- American Robin
- Song Sparrow
