Migrating flocks
Migrations of birds are happening now, many flocks of birds are seen and heard at different times of the day.
This morning I had several groups of Common Grackles stopping by for some food in my backyard then shortly after flew away. I had time to shoot some pictures that I’m sharing with you.
One curious thing was that the majority of the Grackles were male. Do they travel in separate flocks?
Their plumage looked very shiny and complete, they all were mature birds and on mature size. They are handsome birds for sure.
