Children and birds
Yesterday I did some more work on the far side of my backyard and about the time I’d finished a friend passed by pushing a baby carriage with his two adopted kids. One is four years old and the other approximately one year old. They were just going for a stroll since it wasn’t too hot a weather.
My friend was explaining his son about the bird houses and the birds and the little girl just looked around from the stroller.
Later when they were passing by my house again in direction back to theirs, I had a little surprise for the boy, I had a new birdhouse for him, he accepted it and was very excited, his Dad was too. He was telling the boy about where to install it etc. It gave me a lot of satisfaction to make a kid happy and to promote care for birds. My friend asked me about my Blog address and was going to take a look.
It’s the least I can do for my avian friends. 🙂
