Family grows!
We are getting a break on the hot weather now, it’s only in the high 80s 🙂 Thanks G-d!
Yesterday I worked on the far side of the backyard, it was starting to look like a jungle.
It is hard work no doubt, I’m sure that I lost a few pounds with all the sweat I exuded. ( Not that I don’t need it! )

Observing all the birds that come to our feeders I’ve come to realized that most of them were hatched on our grounds, that they are like if they’re our own babies.
There’s a skinny N. Mockingbird that hangs out on our deck and comes to our patio door all the time, face to face with one of our cats (VanGogh – See photo in gallery)
Our cats never go out by the way. Anyway, VanGogh gets all excited, you can see him sitting looking through the door very alert and quiet but you can see his tail is wagging like a whip, meanwhile the Mockingbird is walking and hopping around in front of him.
The other day this same mockingbird came to my window and kind of tap on the glass, there’s not enough room on the sill of the window so he flew away. I think he’s getting very familiar with people.
Today I post some pictures of the “little guys” that are members of our large family in our backyard, they make me a proud father. I never expected to see so many!! 🙂
