“Al fresco”
On Sundays my wife and I usually sit under the shade of our umbrella on our deck and I cook some meat on the grill and then we have lunch ‘al fresco’. Since we got the deck we make use of it constantly, to have coffee or some kind of dessert. Sip on some wine or have lunch. Many times we eat breakfast there too. You have no idea how much we love it. The weather is very cooperative for this effect. When we used to live in NJ we had a larger deck and backyard but we never used the deck as much as now in Georgia. So, getting back to my point, while we were eating I saw a Northern Mockingbird fly from one tree to the top of a street light and stood there to sing.
It was several weeks that I didn’t see any Mockingbirds. Today I felt inspired by the sighting and will be posting a group of 4 photos for you. I picked these because Mockingbirds love to perch on top of birds houses.
