During Autumn,Winter and part of the Spring the Song Sparrows were our regular daily visitors. Running around everywhere pecking at all kinds of things. However it seems like they have disappeared from the map. I wonder were do they go when they aren’t here. perhaps they look for a cooler place, I noticed that they looked happy when we got some snow this past Winter. (See photo # 1)

Earlier in Autumn they also were continuously pecking grubs from under the wet leaves.

By Spring when my deck was built he used to perch and sing from the top of the hand rail. (See photo # 2).

So I ask, where are the Song Sparrows?

In any case I just hope to see my little friends again, maybe after the hot Summer. 🙂

The Song Sparrows are not the only birds that are gone. The list is quite long but who can blame them to leave now that the weather is hot and doesn’t rain that often. Even I was thinking of going some place else last week when our AC unit for my home’s upper floor broke down and we were frying here! 😦 . Fortunately was fixed on the second day. What can you do? Nothing, just fix the darned thing! It just takes Mo’ Money!
