More good news from Princeton University Press
Hello,
Writing with two tidbits of good news from our birding list (admittedly these two are an oddball pairing, but what can you do 🙂
First, our Trogons book by Joseph Forshaw and illustrated by Albert Gilbert has received a duo of awards: http://press.princeton.edu/blog/2010/06/04/joseph-m-forshaw-and-albert-earl-gilbert-honored-twice-at-the-2010-international-book-awards/. This book was published in a limited print run (made even smaller by an unfortunate shipping accident), but there are still a few copies available. This is a book that would be a handsome addition to any connoisseur’s library.
Second, All About Birds: A short illustrated history of ornithology by Valerie Chansigaud is reviewed over at Birder’s Library. Read more here: http://press.princeton.edu/blog/2010/06/04/all-about-birds-reviewed-at-birders-library/
Thank you,
