Size does matter!
It was very nice to see the Indigo Bunting again at my feeders, not only that it mingle with another small bird, the Carolina Chickadee. The photos I’m posting serves as a comparison of size. The Indigo Bunting is like a small version of the Blue Grosbeak.
Other than that it’s very difficult to identify it at first sight.
I have a nest built in the clothes dryer vent, just like last year. Funny thing is that I don’t have that bird listed in my list of visitors: Tree Swallow
I see them everyday, I see them going in the vent but I haven’t been able to take a picture of them yet…One of these days! 🙂
