Tufted Titmouse, sp. name: “Baeolophus bicolor”
Description:
The Tufted Titmouse is a handsome bird with light gray body, white face, whitish breast and black eyes. Has a strong pointy bill used to crack open sunflower seeds.
Usually mixes with Carolina Chickadees.
Their habitat is the woodlands but are frequent visitors of feeders looking for sunflower seeds, their favorite food.
Good looking bird! 🙂
This was the first visit to my backyard! I hope to see him again.
