Small Note:

Let me tell you, birds cause problems for homeowners too! My cloth dryer burned a thermal sensor just because the dryer’s vent was blocked and the vapor heat was backing up. I saw that the vent’s door was missing on the outside of the house. I didn’t have a tall ladder so I decided to use a blower instead to unblock it. It worked! Inside the duct was a thick nest made out of pine needles and leaves, it was vacant, there were no birds in it except some old chards of egg shells, bluish in color.
