It’s worth it!

I noticed that our lawn’s grass is getting yellowish and some parts are light brown, it’s obvious that our weather has changed to cooler mornings and nights, also gets breeze during the day. Let’s face it the Autumn is here!

We live in a new Subdivision, during the three years that we’ve reside here, my wife and I have made some friends from different families, neighbors that are nice and friendly.

When I set-up the feeders in my backyard (2 only)  everybody was kind of skeptic about my idea or doubted my curiosity.

The time has proven that I was right, there are many birds around our area, we just didn’t see them!

Last Spring I had cars from my neighbors slowing down to peek at the feeders filled with all kinds of birds. Some of my friends are doing the same I did, put-up feeders to see if they get some birds. They do get them, but they wish they get more like me.

I feel lucky to be close to a creek and some trees which are apparent good sites for building nests.

A lot of my neighbors as my wife and I do too, walk daily around the subdivision as a way to exercise, which is good for anybody’s health. But you can see some of them stop for a few seconds and see what kind of birds are feeding at that time. I feel proud of my backyard visitors!

Apparently have inspired and encouraged other people to get some interest on birds, I feel that I have contributed to Nature somehow.

For whomever read my post or visit my Blog I ask you to make any comment, give me your impressions about my ideas, photos or any suggestions that might help me be more useful to other people that love birds.

Here I give you one of my favorite pictures!
