Shiny Cowbird, sp. name: “Molothrus Bonariensis”

Description:

Shiny Cowbirds are common birds throughout much of South America, only recently spread through the Caribbean and into the United States.

They are parasitic just like other cowbirds. Medium size songbird, medium long tail, bill pointed.

Males are entirely shiny black, females dull gray-brown.

The males entirely glossy blue-black or purplish black. Wings and tail glossy greenish-blue.
