Orchard Oriole, sp. name: “Icterus Spurius”
Description:
The Orchard Oriole is the smallest of the North American Orioles. It is a medium size songbird, has long tail, thin pointed bill, wing-bars. Male has black back, head and tail, red brick belly and underpants. Females are yellow green, olive green above, wings brownish with two narrow wing-bars.
I have seen only the male species.
