Brown Thrasher, sp.name: “Toxostoma Rufum”

Description:

Brown Thrashers are large long-tailed songbirds with bright rufous above, wings and tail. White underpants with black streaking. Yellow eyes when adult.

Their habitat: They live in thickets and hedgerows mostly.

I always see them going in and out of the bushes or pecking for worms after rainy days.:)

Note: The Brown Thrasher is Georgia’s State Bird!
