Brown-Headed Nuthatch, sp. name: “Sitta Pusilla”

Description:

The Brown-Headed Nuthatch is one of the few birds found exclusively in the United States.

A very small size nuthatch and because of their long size toenails is able to climb headfirst down trees.

Pale brown crown, whitish underpants, back, nape and wings blue gray.

Males and females are similar in color and shape.

The move very fast and are incredible flyers.

If you want to photograph them be patient. They move faster that you can blink! 🙂
