The Mourning Dove is not easy to find here but seems to be expanding its range. Best bet are the lower slopes of the Irazú Volcano about a 45 minute drive, though they have also appeared on the Turrialba Volcano mountain road.
Two nice captures. There ar birds here in alberta that weren’t here before, staying longer. At our Christmas bird count we saw a Yellow-Rumped Warbler.
