Getting Ready for Spring
It feels so good to have balmy temperatures nearing 70º F! I was out pruning my Myrtle Crape dwarf tree. I just hope to see many flowers this summer. Last year my tree was gorgeous, teeming with purple flowers!
“I have the feeling that we’re going to see Spring with many birds this year.”
I shot some pictures but I’ve been busy reading the upcoming new books that Princeton University Press will be publishing this Spring.
Please be on the look out for those book reviews on my blog.
Next Friday I’m going to Tractor Supply Store and buy a lot of bird seeds hopefully to last me a month. I will be working on new ways to set up my bird feeders in order to create better photo opportunities.

Splendid pictures.
Thank you Susan! 🙂
Aw the Field Sparrows are some of my favorites. Lovely pix!
This year I’m getting lots of different sparrows in my backyard! Thanks Lisa! 🙂
There are still so many I have never seen! Maybe they’ll come to your yard… 🙂
Awwwww heat, where are you?
Try Australia Tom, I heard of 52º C in some parts. 🙂
Not that much, thank you.
I hope you’re taking a big truck and are buying a lot of bird seed, I heard the birds spreading the word, “Stop by soon to HJ’s Diner – A Nutritious Smorgasbord”. 🙂
I took my Jeep SUV. I spent over $100.= That’s ok! Between Tyler and the birds are sending me to the poor house! 🙂 I love them all!
That’s alotta seed! Lucky lucky birds, they know you’re a safe friend for sure, HJ. 🙂
